It has a 10 times magnifier, a non-polar light emitting source. It allows clear inspection of skin lesions which are unobstructed by skin surface reflections.

The aim of Skin Cancer Diagnosis is to identify the presence of dysplastic nevus and/or melanoma. Usually, a skin biopsy is a must for Skin Cancer Diagnosis. It is done with the help of local anesthesia.

Melanomas are usually detected with the help of Excisional biopsy. It involves removal of an entire lesion and some special kind of fat.

In case of affected body part being one of the following (toes, face, nose, eyelids, fingers and nails) - a punch biopsy might be used. It is effective in identifying big size melanomas from cosmetic areas. Punch biopsy is also used for Squamous cell carcinoma Skin Cancer.

However, Basal cell carcinoma Skin Cancer is detected using the Shave Biopsy technique
