What are the causes of Cervical Cancer?
The most important factor for the development of cervical cancer in any female is the infection caused with a high-risk strain of HPV or human papilloma virus. HPV in itself is known to be of more than 150 varius types and among these type 16 and 18 are learnt to cause 70% of the Cervical Cancer cases. And along with type 31 HPV, the trio makes a deadly combination for Cervical Cancer.
Cervical Cancer can be caused by multiple things. Here are the Main Causes of Cervical Cancer:- Infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV)
- Unsafe sexual contact leading to transmission of HPV
- Pre-mature Sex or physical relations at an early age
- Smoking Habits can lead to Cervical Cancer
- Weak Immunity System
- Having multiple partners for physical relations (which may lead to transmission)
- Multiple pregnancy (with problems)
- Family history with Cervical Cancer
- Diet factors
- Infection with HIV
- Hormonal Contraception Problems
