Advantages of Dental Amalgam Indirect Restoration:
 -this material is having good strength
 -it is less expensive
 -as the time passes it decreases the leakage at the tooth and filling interface
 -it remains for longer time

Disadvantage of Dental Amalgam Indirect Restoration-
 -it is not esthetic
 -more preparation of tooth required because it needs specific shape to fill
 -tooth may break in future if filling is big
 -it is mechanically locked and not adhere with tooth
 -it can not be use in big cavity

2-Composit Filling Indirect Restoration-

Advantage of Composit Filling Indirect Restoration

 -it is esthetic
 -it is micro mechanically attach with tooth
 -strength is good in new composites
 -less tooth preparation is required

Disadvantage of Composit Filling Indirect Restoration-

 -it shrink as time passes so leakage may occur at the tooth and restoration interface
 -it shrinks so it can come out in future
 -it becomes discolored in future
 -it is expensive

3-Glass Ionomer Cement Indirect Restoration-

 -Advantage of Glass Ionomer Cement Indirect Restoration-
 -this is tooth colored material
 -it prevents caries in tooth after restoration
 -less tooth preparation is required
 -chemically attach with tooth structure
 -it is mainly used in children

Disadvantage of Glass Ionomer Cement Indirect Restoration:

 -color shades are not available
 -it is having less strength
 -it is expensive
 -it can be used in small fillings
