RCT: Problems with Root Canal Treatment

RCT or Root Canal Treatment is one of the very common dental methods for curing dental relevant problems. However, one must be aware about the various problems that may arise during and after the RCT or Root Cancal Treatment. Below we list a few of such problems. Root Canal Treatment
Many problems can be possible in Root canal treatment procedure

1-Pain in RCT Or Root Canal Treatment:
 -pain may be possible when

 -anesthesia given is not proper

 -technique of giving anesthesia is not proper

 -anesthesia is not effective on patient

 -when abscess is present

 -when tissue tag remain in root canal

 -improper cleaning of root canal

 -when over preparation of canal is done

2-many sittings required in RCT Or Root Canal Treatment:

 -when doctor is not capable to locate canal

 -when position of canal is different then normal

 -when patient can not cooperate

 -when big lesion is associated with root

 -when weeping canal is present

 -when pain appearing again and again

 -when perforation in canal is present

 -when canal is curved

3-swelling appear again and again in RCT Or Root Canal Treatment;

 -when canal is not clean

 -when underlying pathology is not clear

4-irritation of surrounding tissue in RCT Or Root Canal Treatment:

 -chemicals are used td clean the canal if the concentration of these are not proper then these may irritate the associate soft tissue structure

5-numbness of structures when giving anesthesia in RCT Or Root Canal Treatment:-

 -when anesthesia is given then related structure becomes numb

 -it is temporary and remain for few hours

root canal treatment is very painful. but the technique should be the best. The procedure should be perfect.
